Disarm DSEi Notts
DSEi is the largest arms fair in the UK, and one of the largest in the world. It bills itself as "the world's largest fully integrated international defence exhibition". It takes place every two years in early September. DSEi 2007 is due to take place at London's ExCeL centre from 11th to 14th September. At DSEi, repressive regimes and arms producers get together to make multi-million dollar deals that will fuel conflicts and impoverish people the world over. The last DSEi in 2005 hosted military delegations from some of the world's worst human rights abusers including Colombia, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, as well as companies marketing cluster bombs and torture equipment.

No 2 ID
NO2ID is a campaigning organisation opposed to the government's planned ID card and the National Identity Register. We bring together individuals and organisations from all sections of the community and seek to ensure that the case against identity is forcefully put forward in the media, in the corridors of power and at grassroots level. We hope to defeat the Home Secretary's proposals in Parliament, but will continue our campaign in the country at large even if legislation is passed.

Sit Tight Records
Founder-Directors Patrick (Lopez) Sheridan and Lenny (LG) Greenberg took the decision to step up the business in 2004. After exploring the options, Sit Tight opted for the workers co-operative company model: "It seemed the natural choice because it reflects our values, and collective way of working which you find in hip-hop culture. We wanted to find a way to support our label, remain ethical and allow participation and opportunity for people we work with." Sit Tight Co-operative so far has four members; Founder-Directors Pat Sheridan & Lenny Greenberg and members Biscuit and Micall Parknsun.

Stop Arming Isreal!
In 2005 the UK government licensed the sale of £22.5m worth of arms to Israel, more than twice the amount in 2004, and has spent millions of pounds on 'battle-tested' arms from Israeli companies. In July 2006, as Israel launched a horrendous attack on Southern Lebanon, various organisations and individual campaigners came together to launch Stop Arming Israel.
Stop the War Coalition
The aim of the Coalition: to stop the war currently declared by the United States and its allies against 'terrorism'. We condemn the attacks on New York and we feel the greatest compassion for those who lost their life on 11th September 2001. But any war will simply add to the numbers of innocent dead, cause untold suffering, political and economic instability on a global scale, increase racism and result in attacks on civil liberties. The aims of the campaign would be best expressed in the name Stop the War Coalition.

Zapatistas (EZLN)
On 1 January 1994 the EZLN, an unheard-of revolutionary organisation, seized power in parts of Chiapas, southern Mexico, calling for the reforms Zapata had fought and died for. Forty thousand federal troops now surround the revolutionaries, and the Mexican government is again under extreme pressure to reform. The struggle of the indigenous and oppressed people of Mexico has never ceased and the EZLN have captured the imagination and won the support of many.
